I am currently participating as a backend development intern in the Zuri internship ( internship.zuri.team ) organised by the Zuri Team ( zuri.team ). The internship is a remote internship that enables interested and active participants learn and improve their skills by working on real world projects. Some of the programs offered by the training include frontend development, backend development, ui/ ux design, mobile development, entrepreneurship etc.

My goals for participating in the Zuri internship are the following:

• To work on real world projects under the guidance of professional mentors.
• To learn and experience how to work in a team.
• To network and create connections with interns and mentors.
• To learn the desired industries' best practices and the best tools and develop the mindset to be successful.

At the end of internship, I want to achieve the following:

• The creation of a professional and rich portfolio.
• The development of a professional and sound mindset.
• The development of skills to enable one to be a very good team player.
• The development of a network of relationships with mentors and interns.
